Zombieland: Movie Review

If somebody can name me a better "opening sequence" to a movie I'd like to hear it.

I don't think anything will ever top Full Metal Jacket's opening for me. Frigging brilliant. Good opening song though -- Ride the Lightning is one of Metallica's more overlooked albums, IMO. :SIB

Ohhhhhh, yeah, that's a whole different animal. I have no idea then. I can't stand opening credits. Kind of like I don't understand how people can enjoy Super Bowl commercials. They're still f'ing commercials. :shrug:

EDIT -- I forgot to add, as far as opening credits though those are pretty good, Kick. :0008

Curious if any of you guys saw and liked the Mist. pretty funky flick, the ending was just brutal.
The way the people acted in the store as they thought it was the end reminded me of the twilight zone episode where the neighborhood goes black and people freak because they think its the end of time. good stuff

Good TW episode too. I liked the Mist - only because of the end - thought it was very brutal and ironic.

I agree with you - only for the first 55 min. of Sean of the Dead. After 55 min. it gets strange and weird - like the writers said "Hey, let's change from a comedy to a flat out horror picture."

Bad decision.

I watched this again last night after all the talk on here about it.
Forgot the start of the movie when Columbus is getting gas he mentions he is in Garland,TX.

Kegray born and raised in Garland,TX for first 8 years of life.
Don't remember seeing any zombies in the 70's. :142smilie
