Where it is real F ing COLD
Minnesota +3 at Green Bay...

Again I will bring out the homer point of view and if you want to argue for or against or even bash that is fine with me.. Looking at the schedule this year the Vikings are 2 - 3 and everyone is up in arms abourt how bad the Vikings look and how bad Favre is.. Well losing primetime games on the road against the Jets and Saints is totally acceptable if you look on it on paper. Looking at how they lost and yes the Vikes look like bumblin idiots. False starts, fumbles , and interceptions..

So this week the Vikings are slated to play another primetime game and suprise suprise its on the effing road again.. Now I am just going to give a little rant.. How can the schedule makers schedule a team 5 consecutive primetime road games. Carolina and Bears to end the season last year but hey that is the schedule and win one.

Now lets look into this game. What are the strenghts and weeknesses... The Vikinngs main weekness is proetecting Favre.. I mean if he gets blocking he is going to scorch teams and with Matthews being dinged the Vikes maybe able to keep him upright.. Plus I think the Vikings can fare much better against a 3 - 4 defense ad the O - line did a nice job against them last year.

Now the Packers can throw the ball very well but their running game is shitty. I think the Vikings defense is too strong with too much pressure to let a one dimensional offense beat them.. Rogers could get knocked out of this game.. The Vikes D has been playing good and if you look at Dallas they only moved the ball by QB draws and screen plays.. Green Bay does not have that type of talent..

Special teams wise the Vikings are much better than GB.. Green Bay is also too banged up and you get a team off of 2 strait OT losses.. I think they are ripe for the picking.. I think you see the Vikings offense explode this week because if Favre gets time they win easy..

More importantly, it's who is missing on the Packer team

The worst part of it is Finley and Matthews might not return any time soon. Finley strained the hamstring tendon in his right leg on the game?s second play from scrimmage, and Matthews reinjured his left hamstring late in the third quarter. The injury kept Matthews out the entire preseason.

Without Finley, the Packers were ineffective on third-down conversions, going 2-for-13.

Actually it is a Sunday Night game and the Vikes have been in lambeau many many tiimes for primetime games and have won a few.. This is the third road primetime game for the VIkes this year and I think the third time will be the charm.. Have to think GB is a bit deflated and second guessing themselve losing 2 in a row in OT and have a mash unit of a team. Saying that it is Favre and the VIkings coming into town and they should feed off of that but if the VIkes can gain the first half momentum the bubble may burst.

The Vikes are more battle tested thus far this season... If the Pack were totally healthy there would be no way I would back the Vikes..

Really believe Vikes Win. Favre finds a way. He will once again remind packers administration that he had a few years left. I see something like last years games where Rodgers and the Pack hang and compete, but vikes are too much.

Vikings fan here.

#1 Vikings football being a success is all up to the offensive line. Chester Taylor is such a loss and no one has sniffed at stepping up..

#2 the packers will get big chunks of yards with griffin out. Going to be a tough game but I welcome 3 points...

Go Vikes.

griffin

good point on griffin. don't think people realize what he means to that defense with the attitude he brings to the game.

Favre is fine..His inability to throw the ball or not is all related to the fact that he is on his ass 3 seconds after the ball is snapped.. If he gets time to throw on a consistent basis the team is probably 4 -1 on the season.. JMO

I would be a little bit more pumped about AP but when you have a coach who likes to run him only about 15 times a game and 12 of those times are behind the right side of the line. (weak spoot). It would truly be amazing to see what he could do if he got the ball 25 times and had an O - Line that could block.. Thanks gor getting rid off Matt Birk you ass clowns..

Its amazing the situation both of these teams are in.. I just hope the Vikes get 1 of these 2.. Go into New England next week. :(

What a schedule

At New Orleans
Miami
Detroit
@ NYJ
Dallas
@Green Bay
@New England.

The Miami losses really hurt both teams and the Vikes had 2 chances in the 4th quarter and could no get the job done..

Still don't know of the penalty of lining up over the center on a punt.. Really cost Green Bay there but they have had their chances in OT in both games but the offense sputtered...
