Suprised you're on Texas. They checked out a few weeks ago and this is one of those weeks were if you've already checked out then playing on Friday after Thanksgiving isn't a good one for you. Aggs might be a little flat to begin with but there is no game they get up for more than this one and they have a the whole week with basically no school to concentrate on it.

I hear ya, but this is a short week with this game being played on Thursday, so the effects of the hangover may be more pronounced than were this game to be played later in the week. While the Aggs were busy edging out Nebraska at home, with major help from the refs I might add, Texas was beating a patsy with an eye on this matchup.

Also, I find it hard to believe the Horns have checked out for the season. Every year around this time I hear and read about teams that have quit and are done for the year, but rarely does it play out that way. Last week, Ole Miss was said to have quit for the season, but on Saturday they played one of their better games of the season against one of their biggest rivals, and had a shot to win it.

BTW, those are my leans, so Tex may not be a play for me this week....

Cie, you're right man. That is a very quick turnaround for what I considered the biggest game at Kyle Field in years. To turnaround and play on Thurs is really tough. I can see a play on Texas but all I can think about is the fact that Baylor of all teams beat them at home this year. UTs offense is horrible. I think the play is the under if anything. Texas has speed on D and can actually play good D when they're motivated. No matter what their O sucks and the Aggs d is pretty good and fast.

If I remember correctly you were one of the few people that had a good week for this particular week last year. I think I remember laughing at a few of your picks last year only to end up practically crying...

Not sure. At this point I would be shocked at consecutive winning weeks:)

I saw you're on LSU. Jefferson has obviously gained confidence. They are throwing downfield on 1st down, which is something that was not happening until recently. LSU has been exploited by Masoli and Cam, so the weakness of this D is pretty clear at this point, and it would seem that Arky is a better matchup for them. Tigers must affect Mallet with the pass rush. Good luck this week:toast:

Also think Jefferson has made good strides as the season has gone on. Maybe a little threat of losing playing time lit a fire under his ass.

I've got LSU by 4 so that gives me 7.5 to work with. But I knew I wanted them before I even did my pencil work. Much better matchup for LSU. Although Mallet is a good passer he's not gonna beat you with his feet. LSU can deal with that, their O is much, much improved. Rarely is there going to be more than a 3pt difference when these guys hook up. I'll gladly roll the dice getting more than a fieldgoal.

On your Ky lean. First of all I like the over. I'm way to emotionally involved in this game to make any kind of a side play. But if I weren't here's what I might do. Take the Vols for the first half and if it hits and they are up by say 7 to 14pts come back and take Ky for a 2nd half play. With the exception of the Louisville game Ky has played uninspired ball practically all year in the first half. That's not to mention that they have been much more prone to turnovers on the road. Just think back about the Ole Miss game. On the other hand, Tennesse has been a fast starter all year and even played Oregon tough the first half and, with the exception of the last few games, have faded as the game went on. Although I don't really except them to wear down in this spot, Ky just plays much better the 2nd half. Skip would know more, but Tenn is definitely a different team with than new QB. GLuck this week bro, let's get the Tigers home and end that 26yr drought for me...

Bought back Auburn play with Bama -4.5 There is no reason for me to be on Aub, aside from my gut feeling on them and the fact that the ref crew assigned to the game normally calls games favorably for teams in position to remain undefeated or in position for nat'l title game.

No play for me, but am looking forward to it either way:toast:

I woke up and bought back 50%. From a gambling perspective, it's just not that clear cut of a game.

Good luck this week and Happy Turkey Day bud.

Love kent absolutely love them!! May want to look @ Buffalo..Love them even more...This will be the final game for 18 seniors for the Bulls, including
eight starters on a veteran defense that ranks fifth in total defense in the MAC
