    Why so high on my pathetic Hawkeyes? Fran is on his way out the door— one can hope, that is— they don’t play defense and can’t shoot and it’s clear the team has thrown in the towel this season. They looked decent on senior night but the hawks are horrible away from home.

    To be fair, it is the greatest hockey movie ever made… Blew my mind when I learned not too long ago that Newman did all of his own skating. Not only was he a great actor, but he was quite the athlete, too.
