It's the carrot or the stick to get folks in line. The stick worked well in this instance.
Tariffs are bargaining chips. You can get anxiety over initial projections or be smart know it's posturing, and sit back and watch who are the best poker players. Kind of comical to witness all the initial hysteria from the from drive by media and their flock.

The only ones that need to get in line are Putin and Trump.

Tariffs can be bargaining chips or than can be destructive. As much as you like to blame the media, at some point, Trump should get the blame for the prices going up, unemployment spike and stock market tanking. GOP leadership is telling representatives to stop holding Town Halls because they are getting ripped by the people that put them in office......but, I'm sure that's just paid actors or the media.

I'm more than happy to watch this play out and listen to the neverending stream of excuses you and the right wing media churn out. Talk about comical!
