Any January 6 protester who assaulted law-enforcement deserves to be jailed for their full sentence Just like any protester in 2020 who assaulted police and business owners, took over public buildings including police stations, should have been jailed.
But the asshole you voted for let them go free.

but (big surprise) maybe you don't understand the differences between the protests in 2020 and the attack on the capitol.
couple big differences.
1) in 2020, people were responding to video of police officers literally murdering an unarmed black man. the kind of thing we'd been hearing about for decades, but never had video evidence, so officers were almost never even charged, and certainly never convicted.
surely, as a black man, you can understand why people were legitimately pissed off.
that said, of course any attacks on police officers and property damage should have been prosecuted. i'll go out on a limb and say there was a concerted effort to identify as many of them as possible. if more of them escaped prosecution (i have no idea what the numbers are), maybe it was just because those protesters were a little smarter than the dumbasses who assaulted the capitol and bragged about it.
on january 6th, people were responding to a political leader who was knowingly lying about the election being stolen. they were there out of blind loyalty to him.
can you see the difference? decades of pent-up rage over racists cops getting away with murder vs a cult trying to overturn a free and fair election.
2) again, i'm going out on a limb here. i'll bet in 2020, there were a lot more police attacking protesters than the other way around. despite what i'm sure you've been led to believe, the VAST majority of those protests were peaceful.
i don't think you'll find many people who don't agree that anyone who assaults a police officer should be imprisoned. well, except in the white house, where they clearly don't care. but to compare the 2020 protests to the assault on the capitol is an insanely stupid and lazy equivalency.

Besides, let’s not forget that the person that you voted for in the 2020 election opened borders , and now it’s reported he gave out almost 4,000,000 Social Security numbers to citizens.
Had that buffoon not done stupid shit like this , DJT would not have dominated the election winning the popular vote despite Democrats widely outnumbering Republicans in this country.
