Gonna shock most of you because it hasn't been playing well but guess what? It's playing Mexico and that's big because psychologically the US wants to play Mexico (see Poland mental checkout day) because it can beat Mexico but it's not sure about Italy. Think of it this way...there is less of a fear factor with Mexico than Italy because the US has played with and beaten Mexico and in an elimination cup this is a tremendous ally. Stranger things have happened in this cup.
