I'll talk to you mate!!...Not that there's much point on a Sat evening...no doubt you'll be prepping up for a big night! :00hour
(I'd usually say, "lucky you!", but I'm a little on the seedy side myself today, so few drink on couch and footy me us oldies!...by whom, I mean me! :mj07: )
Eagles v. Freo under 185.5 (1.68 @ BF)
8 of the last 9 meetings have gone under this number, always high pressure games, and very often evening games which I don't think helps scoring at all.
The Ealges have allowed 85+ points just once in their last 10!...av'ing just 77 ppg, and 69 in their last 5.
Their problem has been up forward, scoring 87+ just twice in thier last 8...against Richmond and the Dogs, both terrible defensive teams, and both time WC were big favs.
Freo have a perceived weakness down back this season, allowing two big scores, but 38.15 against them has been some very good kicking for goal, and is unlikely to happen tonight, esp. from a below av. WC forward line.
WC are FAR better defensively than either Ess or Port (as seen today!)...
...can't see this one being too much of a shootout.
2-0 so far with picks, both totals.
fwiw, I agree with you on Brisbane, and will be on myself...well, not on myself...:scared
Sydney don't look like scoring (how do you only just beat Richmond??!! ), and Brisbane playing a new, very defensive possession game which will limit the Swans' chances even further.
The only niggle I have, is that Bris are off two very soft games, and the Swans will be a far tougher opp than either Hawthorn or St. K...
...but 15.5 points is definately enough to get onboard!!
