Four system selections for this week...... and all as massive faves.
Collingwood - 39.5 versus Fremantle
Brisbane - 43.5 versus Melbourne
Geelong - 47.5 versus Port Adelaide
St.Kilda - 40.5 versus Richmond
40 odd points is a huge number to try and cover in AFL. Chances of all four doing it is unlikely! I would expect a 2-2 result or a 3-1 with some luck.
:director: This is not the week that I recommend going for all four bets!
I have books that offer "25+" winning margins @ $1.40ish so I will be dabbling there.
If you wanna have a stab at one or two of these, here is my opinion on each.....
Collingwood will beat Freo and the line is about right / perhaps slightly in Freo's favour. Fremantle generally play them close. Collingwood 1-39 margin @ $2.45 is value.
Brisbane should smash Melbourne if they take it seriously. They score very high at home and Melbourne are shocking on the road too.
Geelong will win.....but will they kick poorly and just get the job done, while looking ahead to next weeks huge clash against the other undefeated team in the Saints? ....or do they come out and make a statement and destroy Port by 90 odd?!! :shrug: Stay away from this one.
Saints should win but they are not the team they were earlier in the season when they were strangling all comers! (They too will be looking ahead to next weeks "top of the ladder" clash with Geelong) I would suggest taking Saints 1-39 @ $2.55ish for value.
Small stakes this week is my call :0corn
