H2H with the NCAT game. Pretty strong play for us. We are the ones that moved the line.
One of Us going to be Sad :s4: more than likely me...
You could have said something about your line manipulation..... x07: as I would've been much happier buying the Under at 159'......
In All Seriousness, this was my weakest play and I almost didn't post it.... With that being said, here's what I was thinking in an nutshell:
Considering the last time these two hooked horns Aggies controlled the 2nd half and final score was 77-98. It looked to me like Del St played out of their head which is why they set the line this high, but what I'm taking into account is that Del St has had 1 game in the last 15 Days, a road loss to NC Cent in which they mustered 45 pts. With this much time off, bound to be some rust and it's been my experience that a team that has won only 2 games all season (1 win to that same NC Central (scored 68 at home) but then turns around and plays NC Cent on the road and puts up 45? in a 17 PT loss?
So here we are with Del St traveling to Aggies, and although in the last game they managed 77 at home (but avr 65 on road to some bad teams) and I question their motivation with that much time off, and what typically happens when you have time to think about it (they had nearly 15 days) and I expect doubt to have crept in, with all fortitude gone, expecting to get dismantled to NC A&T..... In which is my only real concern....... they are capable of dropping a Century Mark here, but if Del St comes out with no energy, this could get lopsided fast, and we all know what typically happens when teams get a big lead..... ie: Team loses interest and gets sloppy (especially with the bench getting cleared at home, where Coach would be expected to play his bench for the home crowd. Also, teams typically go into slow down mode (example is Duke and Coach K is notorious for running clock with a big lead).
Anyhow, Del St had over 20 TO in the last game against Aggs, and if they do manage a score over 65 this probably goes over, but I'm banking that they won't get there and are thinking more about this weekends parties and allowing a mulligan to this Season.
Anyway, good luck to you and your group. It won't be an earth shattering loss, and I have a lot of respect for you, as you know. :00x1
