Unfortunately, this COVID crap is making life difficult for college basketball. So many games being canceled makes me wonder if we will get through March Madness unscathed.

I wrote some time ago that last year's stats were very skewed due to COVID protocol that threw my power numbers into true conjecture and the results weren't exactly what I had expected. Anybody that caps for a living needs to take into account various factors and hypotheticals but Covid is a beast of different nature. It's hard enough to get in the head of a college athlete and with so many unknown elements and living in a world that has changed dramatically from say 10 years ago, means successful handicappers have to go out of the box (or their comfort level) to postulate outcomes and take into account those elements that drive the lines and cash your tickets.

With all that being said, I trying to adjust to the new norm but the challenges are many. Hopefully, with the new quarantine length cut in half, teams can work through and get back on track, but it seems everyday that as more games get postponed or canceled, I'm not sure where this is all headed.

Those that have followed my plays know that in previous years, I made an effort to post my plays in the wee hours of the morning (to allow other MJs members to get the best price). And of course, now, I have been posting much later, so you might be questioning what gives?

Last year, I was approached by a "group" that wanted my plays before I posted anywhere on the internet. I turned them down because it's hard enough to cap for myself, and frankly, I had mixed results, so I didn't want to get involved. I do believe that if you have a product that can benefit others on a consistent basis then you have a right to make some money and that follows with our "free enterprise" system. Nobody is twisting your arm to pay for plays, nor do you owe anybody anything.

This particular group has some big money whales who can't pick their nose, let alone cap their own plays. The guys that started the group are pretty sharp (especially in the NBA and NFL/Soccer). They have been sending me their plays for the past 2 years (I don't cap the NBA) but once in awhile, after I got permission, I would post in the NBA forum and they did pretty well.

So over the past 4 months, they have wined and dined me to the point that I sold my soul to the devil 👿. It's the main reason why I have posted much later and for that I apologize. I hate seeing a 4 point swing in the morning, which doesn't do anybody any good.

I just wanted to give an explanation of why my posts are later. In addition, I have been limiting my plays, and trying to focus and key on games where the value lies.

I have made it clear that I will continue to post at MJs and they are OK with it as long as I give their membership first dibs and they can add my plays to their phone service.

Again, I apologize for the delinquent picks but hope you can still get a decent number once I post, if you decide to follow.

I will be back shortly with today's picks.......

Gluck to All

Towson +1'......10 u 👊 *I realize that the line has shifted and I still think there is value up to -3.......Towson is better team and plays well at Drexel.

Bethune Cookman +2'....10 👊 *kinda a head scratcher and I made this pick because one of my top plays was ppd..both teams are bad (and kinda goes against the grain for me) *never ask a bad team to do something good) but I like B-C here (both 2-9) so I don't see why Florida A&M is getting the love....... Not from me.

My top play to the service was Oregon -4 (1st Half) *I believe Buffs actually traveled to Oregon, but my theory was that Buffs hadn't played a game since 12/18 and the their best player (Jabari Walker) had been listed as Questionable (due to head injury). Even if he played, the Buffs were hit hard by Covid and practice time was helter skelter. Of course, Boulder has been dealing with a major fire, too. Between lack of practices, Covid, Fires, and rust from not playing since 12/18 was a golden opportunity to jump on Oregon (1st Half). **I'm simply giving you my write up when I shot the play to my service.

Ark Pine Bluff-Alabama A&M Under 128'......10 u 👊👊... Should be a snoozefest....

One more in a few minutes...
