Reasons why I like Oregon here. I have Oregon rated as a better team by three points based on various intangibles. Throw in a three point advantage to Stanford for home field and I come up with an even matchup. Stanford has played well, however, they are a young team on defense without any real leadership.

The last three years Oregon has averaged a little over thirty nine points, whereas Stanford has averaged twenty one, in this series. I could easily see this game getting into a semi shootout and the way Stanford has played in the second half of games this year, the defense could be out there huffing and puffing by games end. Both teams should be able to move the ball, but in an expected tight game, I see some value in Oregon getting four points. Ducks on a 7-1 dog run and 12-4 on the road as a dog, usually play better ball cover wise, on the road. Stanford 0-5 as an avenging home favorite.

I like Oregon to squeak out a close win on the road straight up.
