Vancouver +170 over EDMONTON 300/510

Vancouver is the better team except in goal. I would think Brochu will start tonight and Crawford will take extra care to make sure there are no defensive breakdowns. Vancouver has two lines that are playing dominant hockey. The Naslund line and the Sedin line have both been outstanding. Jovanovski, unfortunately, has not. I expect him and the entire defense to play much better after the embarassment in Colorado tonight.

But the one thing I don't like here is that over the last 2 years, Edmonton is 6-0-0 at home coming off a road win and 1-day rest.. Avg GF 4.17 Avg GA 1.50.. However.. many weak teams in the sequence (Columbus, Anaheim, Florida) but also some decent ones (Buffalo, Boston, St-Louis).

Maybe just a meaningless trend but enough for me to pass...

BTW.. a friend of mine just asked me to put a small amount on the parlay Vancouver PK / OVER 5.5. I told him that this is a sucker bet but he doesn't care.. He doesn't have a clue about hockey but this lucky sob always win.. So that's good news for you
