10 mile road race

Hello All,

Just finished my first 10 mile road race. Thanks for the guys for the recommendations on running shoes. Went with the Nike 360S. Great shoe.

I made a promise to myself that I would do this race this year as I turned 40 earlier this month.

Finished the race in 76 minutes! Started training back in February so it fells go to have finished!

Congrats to ya!! Always wanted to try something like that, but never took the time. Somebody told me that long distance runners lose their toenails. Is that true?
