Has anybody seen highlights of the speed this green has. Solid ice. Duval drops a ball 10 inches off the ground and it rolls 140 feet off the green. Approach shots landing in the middle of the green, rolls back 40 yards. USGA say's they watering and fertilizing it to slow it down. Guess what it ain't working. Wind and heat have baked it solid. Can you say OLYMPIC all over again.
Imagine on Sunday having a one stroke lead and you hit the ball to the middle and it rolls 40 yards into fairway, bogey. Bye Bye U S open. Somebody may want to kill the greens keeper.
Imagine if its Tiger. Nah they would water it down before he took his second shot.
Would be like the confict snowblower guy who cleared the field in the Patriots/Dolphins game during the snowstorm so the pats would have a clean field to place the ball for the field goal attempt. That would be made for t.v. drama. GL ALL
