Great info on 1H/2H totals involving Big East teams, guys. Really useful stuff.
Certainly thought I would've learned my lesson w/ Temple. Last 4 Sat. games on ESPN w/ the Owls I took the OVER for the 1st half. In each case, w/ the possible exception of the last one vs. GW, after the 1st 10 min or so played the total was on pace to go over. Then Temple goes into their usual half-court lull and the total proceeds to end up way under. What the hell? And each time, it goes over the total in the 2H and for the game!
Then today both the Cuse and Pitt start off unbelievably hot and me thinks the over 62.5 is in the bag. Wrong!!! They start going cold and total ends up at 62 at the half.
Not to mention MD/UNC 1H over was in doubt. MD couldn't miss a shot to start off, then NC starts to play some serious "D"? Heh? Luckily it just went over on the Juan Dixon tre w/ less than 10 sec to go.
conclusion....for the rest of the season, unless it's Duke, Md, Kansas, et al, I will lean towards the 1H UNDER.
