I think the Caps have finally heard enough about the "playoff chokes" and will come out and smoke the Rangers. I see Caps in 5.....6 at worst.

obv I am biased on the caps but think arnott's presence will make a difference along with the failure's of past playoff appearances by the caps will help them realize they need to play different in the post season.

skating on garbage line with team, no contact allowed, so hoping for round 2, late round 1 if he can start taking some contact soon, just seeing him in practice mode, he looks intense, but the ability to absorb a hit will be key. If he can come back with the way that Fleury and defense is playing we have a decent shot to at least play for Lord Stanley....

Think Arnott will help Caps, but they still have the same problem, their Goaltending will be their Achilles Heel....

arnott is HUGE for the caps, they have been saying it since he has gotten there. I think the young guys DO listen to him when he speaks up about defensive responsibilities.
goaltending is a question esp nuvey, varly had his moments but also shit the bed a couple games...
I love the fact that nuvey is a position style goalie. Hopefully that will lead to a more consistent performance.
Also I hope to see especially vs the king less picking corners and more shooting for rebounds and crashing the net. If we have not learned by now we will never learn.

Sid was supposedly mucking and grinding in the corners on Tuesday. A friend of a friend who knows a few people doesn't think he will be back this year.

Ok decided to sit and watch last night. Was at GM 2 of the Pens and they stunk the joint out.
