Just wanted to pass this info along. I decided to try out a little system for this year's NCAA tournament. I took all underdogs plus the points and also wagered the same amount on all underdog money lines (except for 1 vs 16 seeds I only took + points). I ended up w/ 59 first round bets. Should have been 64..minus four #16 ML's and also didn't do CS Northridge - mistake on my part.

Here were some stats :

Overall Record 28-31
Underdog Money Lines 10-18

Region Breakdown:
Midwest 10-5
West Region 7-7
East Region 7-8
South Region 4-11

The Midwest region was by far the most profitable w/ big dogs (Cleve St and Dayton) winning outright.

Even with the overall losing record, I still came up on the plus side. Is it true that in previous years the majority of upsets actually occur in the 2nd round? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks and good luck
