Back in my College days, I signed up to Bunjee Jump with a company that was just a couple of guys that snuck us onto a train trestle over Feather River... The trestle to the river was 240 ft (a pretty good jump).. There were about 20 people jumping that day, they started with the people who weighed the least and made adjustments to the Bunjee as the weight went up.

I was weighing about 220 back then and the guy that went before me was less than 200...(Like I said this company wasn't a licensed, insured business) but we didn't care as we got fairly tuned up beforehand. When my turn came, they adjusted the Bunjee to account for about a 30 lb difference, or so I thought. I actually executed a perfect dive off the trestle and it was so cool, until about the time that I belly flopped against the water (thank God it was a river), by the time they pulled me back up I was ecstatic, and the adrenaline was pumping... Everyone was worried and kept asking me if I was OK?.. I said "hell yeah, let's do it again".... This time they made the necessary adjustments and never came close to the water..

We got very drunk that evening and I didn't think anything more about hitting the water. The next day I awoke and couldn't hardly move. My stomach was bright green, blue, and black. I was lucky I didn't do major damage. The next week my bruised abdomen turned the whole spectrum of colors... Very pretty, but very sore too... Never Bunjee jumped again. Thanks for listening..

Your guardian angel was there if u believe in that sort of thing. I'm sure most of us should have died multiple times for doing stupid stuff.
