College Football Betting: Week 4 Marquee Games
Two big upsets and a bad showing by #1 Ohio State led to a big shakeup against the polls. The Buckeyes maintain a solid hold on the #1 spot, but with USC falling at home against Stanford, and Alabama losing outright against Ole Miss on Saturday night, there is already much debate as to...

| NFL Football Betting: Good Teams, Bad Starts
Seattle, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and Baltimore all entered the season with high hopes of winning their division and making it far into the NFL Playoffs.
The Seahawks and Colts were the favorites to reach the Super Bowl for the majority of the summer at the online sportsbooks. As it stands, all four of those teams remain winless after games. But that doesn?t mean they are done for, and if anything that bad start should provide good line value backing these teams over the next few weeks.
Despite that 0-2 start, the Seattle Seahawks are at the moment the biggest favorite on the board this weekend, laying 14.5 points at home against Chicago. This will also be Seattle?s first home game of the season, where the Seahawks enjoy perhaps the best home field advantage in the entire league over the last few years (along with New Orleans). There was good news for Seahawks fans this week as safety Kam Chancellor ended his holdout and will return to the field to shore up a defense that gave up 61 points in the first two games.
The Eagles made a ton of offseason moves, including switching out the key positions of quarterback and running back, but that offense has stalled in scoring just 34 points combined in the first two games, with most of those points scored well after falling behind against the Falcons and Cowboys. They are currently a 2.5-point road underdog at New York against the Jets this week ? great line value considering Philly would likely have been a big favorite had this game been played in Week 1.
The Colts started last season by losing their first two games, and still finished 11-5 ? reaching the AFC Championship Game. In Week 3 last year they crushed Jacksonville 44-17 to start a five games winning streak which saw them outscore those five foes by a combined 90 points (18 points per game). Indy is currently a 3.5-point road favorite at Tennessee ? another line that is much lower than it would have been had this game been played in the first week of the season.
And finally we have Baltimore, who played well but came up short in their season opener at Denver, and then gave up a game-winning touchdown with 25 seconds remaining at Oakland last week. Like Seattle, the Ravens will be playing their first home game of the season this Sunday against Cincinnati (favored by three points), where they were 6-2 straight up last season. Bengals won and covered the spread in their first two games, but they are 0-6 ATS on the road after covering the spread in back-to-back games.
Don?t give up on these teams just yet, and remember that public perception keeps the line lower than it should be.
