They use a 3rd party for sending out checks and Money Orders. The person that sends the package is the one that has to make the claim but since he died, the receiver is the one that has call and make a claim. Vice claims that you wouldn't make the call and they have called several times but they can't make a claim, you have to.

I thought this was already taken care of. Definitely a communication problem going on. Last I heard everything was fine.

I'll check again with Vice and see what's going on.

It's still too early for me to contact Costa Rica but all you have to do is call FEDEX, give them the tracking number, and tell them you are the customer receiving the package and ask them where your package is. It's really that simple. Why won't you do that? YOU and the SHIPPER are the only ones that can do that. Asking Vice to do that is like asking me to do it. According to FEDEX it's none of our business. It's between you and the shipper and the shipper is dead, so that leaves you. Just do that and get back to me.

And to ask that people boycott 1Vice? They paid you on time. It's not their fault FEDEX lost the package and it's not your fault the package was lost and it's not my fault the package was lost. Shit happens. If you take care of your end of this process and the package is not found, I am POSITIVE that 1Vice will make it good.

Okay, I spoke with Vice. They sent you $20K before and after the lost package. To say that they won't pay is totally unfair. They DID pay and the proof is in the tracking number.

This is out of their hands. They need to see that FEDEX closed the case as lost. They can't just send more money because it can still be received by you, if found. This whole thing is not their fault and they are not saying they won't pay you even if it is in fact lost. They will make it good.

It's on YOU to stay on FEDEX's ass even if it means you call them every single day and escalate it to a superior. They can't do that and neither can I or I would.

Why would they stiff you if they have shown that they have paid you before and after, $20k? $3000 is chump change to this book.

BTW, this could take a long time for them to close a case. I've been there before, not with a sports book but with my taxes. It takes a long time.

I have talked to Fedex over 10 times and they said SHIPPER has to file claim.
1vice has only called Fedex to get claim number to research, Fedex considered it lost
NOW, Fedex says shipper needs to call with account number so it officially will be considered lost!!!
I have asked 1vice yo give me a name at Fedex who they talked to and basically they won't for some reason.
#1 claim was issued to 1vice by Fedex
#2 now 1vice needs to work with Fedex, NOT ME(I have tried 10 times), Fedex after talking to 1vice will put package as lost on website instead of pending.
Basically 1 vice needs to follow through and they will not. Need them to call Fedex and get me a name who says receiver needs to follow through on this. They have told me repeatedly that shipper needs to.

I’m in Kroger getting stuff right now so will reply later on but…..
1 Vice is NOT the shipper. They use a 3rd party to handle US payouts that are checks or MO’s. The shipper is dead. Tell FEDEX the shipper is dead and you want your package. FEDEX owes YOU a package that was not delivered to YOU.
It’s out of the hands of 1Vice. They didn’t ship the package, they are in Costa Rica. As soon as FEDEX closes the shipment as lost they will pay you but that’s on you to make sure you get that message to FEDEX.

I'm back. Sorry if I don't sound like I'm on your side with this issue but it seems plain as day to me. If I was you I would get on the phone with FEDEX and demand some satisfaction. They lost your package. They are 100% responsible for this and they keep putting the blame on someone else. I can't blame Vice for this, they said they would still make it good if you can prove it's lost.
