I usually don't punch my ticket til Wed or Thurs. but I'm sure these lines will move against me, so I've got these 2 for now.

Garcia is the NFL's top rated passer and Owens is proving very difficult to stop. Now, St. Louis isn't exactly lacking in the firepower category either, but I feel that SF has more to lose if they get swept by the Rams.
DET+9
Yes...TB needs this bad to keep pace in the NFC Central. Yes, They'll be facing Detroit's back-up QB. Yes, they're at home. BUTI've said it before....Detroit has been in almost every game this season against far better teams than TB.
In TB's 6 wins, only 1 has been by more than 7 points. (MIN 41-14) And the others by 4 or less.
As a matter of fact, I just might take DET on ML this week.

I'm also looking at CHI +5.5 and NYJ + whatever. I would get in on the Jets now, but my book doesn't have the line up yet cause of Bettis.

Wow...I had the exact 4 games circled. With the exception that I would play Chi. +11.5 and Jets +9 (I think) as a teaser rather than straight up.

i don't see this line moving down, despite early money going on s.f.

7 won't make any difference, and 6 1/2 will take mostly st louis money, which would overwhelm the books.

i won't be surprised if it actually moves the other way by late fri/sat.

The Jets are unbeaten on the road this season. Bettis or not, this a good spot for NY.
Pitt wants to extend their lead in the race for homefield throughout the playoffs but the Jets need the win worse to keep pace in a tight divisional race.
