*****Creighton @ Marquette... 1h and gm OVERRR
L5 gms in series = 210 pts / 166 / 176 / 171 / 196.... << whoa! 1H's = 81/79/94/94/90
*obviously these coaches are consistent in their offensive approaches when they play each other...
*don't know much about Creighton, but Marq has some great offensive players..
*hawkeye likes to over too... usually a good sign when these matchup to his stuff

***Wichita St @ SMU... Full gm OVERR
L3 gms in series = 168 / 162 / 161 (today's line 141.5) << consistent... 1H's = 83 - 72 - 67... today's line 66.5
*I was surprised when I looked and saw these #'s... didn't think smu had it in em, but hopefully they do again!

NOTE: "past performance is not a guarantee of future performance"... < every damn financial advisor in the world

hope we win!

Wojo?s coaching in this game exposed how bad he is. Marquette literally didn?t try to push the ball at all. Just run half court sets on every possession. Makes it a lot easier to guard an undersized scoring G. College coaches get these reps for being amazing coaches, but honestly there?s maybe 2-3 worth a damn. This run a set on every play is not great coaching. It?s pathetic to watch. The NBA gets a lot of jokes, but it?s not even close how much better the coaches are in the NBA.

Honestly, there are some talented players and running a "transition" type game, pushing the ball in 3 on 2, 4 on 3 situations puts those talents on display, and creates scoring opportunities.
It's a simple formula...

for some reason, they thought letting 1 guy dribble the ball for 20 seconds and then force up a shot was a "safe" way to make sure they could win.... obviously not true in hindsight.

these fuggers are driving me to take up fishing :00x3
