2 Seconds left???

Was it just me or was there still 2 seconds left on the clock??? Not that it would matter, maybe

Didnt matter to me, I had the under. But why wasnt there time put back on??

It sure mattered to me. I had a prop that the team with the last possession would win the game. I was very thankful they let those last 2 seconds tick off.

I always wondered exactly what the rule was on those situations. Obviously, without a miracle of miracles, the 1 or 2 seconds would be meaningless. But this does happen all the time with game winning field goals. Does anybody know precisely where the rules say the clock should stop? As Kotysdad mentioned, it did affect some props.

the Fox "television" clock is not the official clock. If you noticed the first period ended with 7 seconds left on Fox clock. Official time is kept on field by referee.
