for 9 years I brought supplies to these piers..often time being escorted from deck to deck on these carriers trying to find the right guy to "receive and sign" for the supplies...

my childhood til age 15 was spent "Downtown Norfolk"...if we could enlarge this pic enuff I could show you the very street I was born on.....no condo's or big bank buildings during the 50's when my grandmother and I would walk down these very streets for groceries and over to the fish market for the daily catch.
