Always the big money for the big game. And I'm sure that WH was happy to take a large ML wager on the favorite since every book is expected to have exposure on ATL ML, as is the case with most Super Bowls. Only question is, why not wait for a better line or shop around town a bit? I see that the Orleans is at -145 now and had -140 available earlier today.

why in hell would you pay 35 dollars over standard listed moneyline..

the whole idea in sports wagering is finding or creating value and then exploiting it.

and on top of that the true money line is 149

I think Vegas Dave had Atl to win it all earlier in the season. If his bet hits he'll supposedly win $3 million or something (he already won $2 million when they won the NFCCC). I'm sure he has plans to hedge a little for the SB. That guy might lose big but he always wins bigger in the long run. I'd pass on NE just from the fact he's predicting Atl (he predicted Denver last season).

If the guy bet a will hill you have to think it was layoff action otherwise he would have bet at the Hilt on or somewhere else and negotiated better odds.
When I lived in Vegas I made plenty of 50 dime bets abd always got a better line or I didn't bet with them.
Years ago Charles Barkley bet 700 dimes on the Super bowl and won they fired the sports book manager who went to work at the Hilton. The reason they fired him was because CHARLES was down 700 thousand at the CASINO...LOL
