Here we are!:D I know, some of you might be shock to see some betting lines during Olympics but hey, when there are moula to grab $$$ don't you think it could make it it much more interesting? Anyhow, i have no remorse at all to make some bets during that event!

I found lots of lines at Olympic. So far i'm using them. If you know others places, let us know! I hope this thread will help each and others during Olympics and that all of you around the world could share your thoughts about your athletes ! I'll make some bets on my canadians athletes for sure but haven't finished yet my analysis.

Early bets:

Cross country relay men 4x10 km: Norway at 3 to 5

High odds but almost a sure bet (there is NO LOCK in gaming)
Norway skiers are all alone in this event. It will be a shock if they don't win that one.

Mens luge single: Georg Hackl at 1 to 1

This guy is getting old but he is a legend. Going for his fourth consecutive gold medal. Play it lightly but his chance are as good as Markus Prock (9 to 4 at OLY)

more to come!

Womens Biathlon 7.5km sprint: Magdalena Forsberg -285 over
Olga Pyleva

Womens 15km individual : Magdalena Forsberg -135 over Liv Grete Poiree

Magdalena might win 3 gold medals in Biathlon. She is number one in the world right now and will be hard to beat. However, I prefer match ups than odds to win gold!

Two more before it starts tomorrow!

Odds to win the Two Man Bobsleigh
Germany (Christoph Langen) (3 to 4)

That is the best odds i could find. It is up to -200 in most offshores!

Womens Curling
Match Ups February 11, 2002
Canada -140 over sweden

The gold medal will either belong to Sweden or Canada. Both collide in the first game so the winner of that one will probably give us an idea of the gold champ! Womens Canadian curling team is just great and i like them to start win a W in the tournament.

another one but it goes off the board shortly

Mens Downhill

Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin -185 over Sebastien Fournier

Yesterday practice saw Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin finished first in front of Eberharter and Strobl  while Fournier was ninth. I know it is high odds but i like his chance !

1837 me ol' mate

Here's the reason why Dalcin got beaten - great call on yer behalf, just rotten luck.

Keep following this guy people, he knows his chit :)

OLYMPICS-SKIING-DALCIN
BRAVE DALCIN BOWS OUT WITH GRITTED TEETH
Snowbasin, Utah, Feb 11 Reuters - French skier Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin has been ruled out of the rest of the Salt Lake City Olympics after one of the bravest performances in a losing cause.
Gilles Brenier, team director of the French men's Alpine skiing team, revealed on Monday that Dalcin tore left knee ligaments while landing his first jump 23 seconds into Sunday's downhill.
He completed the run, however, finishing 11th despite losing one of his skis shortly before the finish.
``What he achieved in the race despite getting injured and losing a ski is remarkable,'' said Brenier.
Dalcin started the race with an outside chance of a medal after recording the fastest tine on the final training run on the treacherous Grizzly piste on the eve of the downhill.
Scheduled to enter Saturday's super-G, he will fly home to France for surgery.
Had Dalcin, who will be 25 on Friday, repeated his final training run time of one minute 39.84 seconds he would have finished fifth in the downhill, missing the medals by less than half a second.

If i had known...

Thanks for the cheer up Anders ! My olympics picks has started badly with Slovakia who choke last night, Hackl who finished second and Prock third  , Magdelena Forsberg third in her match ups vs Poire (second)...

At least, we had a W with the Canadian girls in Curling!
I saw a nice match ups for tomorrow in mens figure skating:

Elvis Stojko -105(was at +110 earlier....) over Takeshi Honda

This is the last Olympics for Stojko and he is in great shape. He wants to finish in the podium and he will give all he's got. The line is going down quickly so get on it now!
