the fact that navy is favored is downright laughable. they are going to get drilled. they might have one of the worst resumes for any bowl team in recent years. boise state is intriguing at first glance. akron line much higher than i thought it would be. and very surprised toledo is favored.

After that a couple games really jump out at me:

Gonna start early in the bowl season with UTEP +135 ML over Toledo

Next up will be UNDER 61 in Cal/BYU..cant really pick a side here, but I know Cal's defense will buckle down, and maybe get the cover

I think Nevada -2 is an easy cover over ucf

BC has a great head coach that gets them ready for big games, especially bowl games in the last few years. That gives them an edge over Boise, I like the Eagles +1.5

Oregon -3.5 over Oklahoma....dare I say the L word??? easy money there

Northwestern/Ucla, yea both teams can score, but 74?? Cal and TTU barely got over 75 last year with passing attacks that made northwesterns look like a high school team. Close call, but I like the UNDER

USF +6.5...not too many teams that NC State could play where I would lay the points...USF definately not one of them..

Florida -2.5..Iowa cost alot of people alot of $$$ this year, and if you think they're gonna beat florida, they're gonna cost you $$$ too.

Wisky/Aub I think Auburn rolls to victory here. Only teams with great defenses can contain Auburn and stay in the game. Wisky wont be able to do that. Look for a score similar to the Wisky/PSU contest in November

ND/OSU your classic offense vs. smash mouth defense here. This is a FG game either way, between these two legendary programs. I might play the UNDER here as well, but not sure yet. Unless ND rolls, which I dont expect, not sure how this score gets into the 50s...

PSU laying WHATEVER. Their defense will have a FEAST on fsu's injury rattled OLine, and there is no playmaker at QB for FSU to compensate for it. They can shut down the run, unlike VT on Saturday, so this could be one of the most lopsided bowl games this season. PSU 41- FSU 7

I agree to a point. Not sure of years past, but I know last year Cal was a 10 or 11 point fav to TTU in this bowl. Cal certainly played the letdown part well and got trounced. While this year's Oregon is definately a downgrade from last year's Cal team, Oklahoma is certainly a downgrade from last year's explosive Texas Tech, and I dont even think they're as good as their record because of a watered down BIG 12 this season.

You could be right, but right off the bat, I'm not expecting much from any BIG 12 team in this year's bowls. I dont think any of them got favorable matchups..and CSU and Iowa State may be the only BIG 12 teams that finish up with wins. You're right though GMAN, the word "lock" is never true, especially in a bowl game, I got a little carried away in my post there. Some of those games really excite me betting wise, especially Auburn, Florida, ND, and UTEP.

The Big 12 may not fare well, but Kansas looks to be very good play. They have a solid, attacking D, and they are ecstatic to be going to this bowl.

At first glance this will be one of my bigger plays.

USC -6.5. At home. Not that I'm madly in love with the play, but I don't see the line going down, a few 7's have surfaced already, so a later buyback at 7.5 (or more) gives a decent middle at 7 if I change my mind. 6.5 is also optimum tease value, in my mind , for those that think that way.

I don't know how much this will help everyone but I do know this is one HALACIOUS MISMATCH!!!
