I don't agree at all Scott.
For the very reasons that 4bubba posted, winning in pre-season can be easier than the reg season.
PLENTY of info can be found by reading local press before the game...Coaches views (ie. taking it seriously or not)...are they working on their defense/running game (unders), is a back up QB trying to get the reg. start (lots of throwing...overs).
A classic example was in wk. 4 last season was Tenn v. Green Bay.
Tenn were -7, but talking up how important it was to go into the season on a winning note.
Green Bay on the other hand were resting starters.
Not surprisingly the Titans won 48-27.
I honestly believe that pre-season has some of the best bets on offer.
