Not that it matters, but a sportsbook director that put out these numbers mentioned that all the money so far has come in on the Arizona Cardinals +3.

Three games that I like for week one are:

Lions-1 at Home over Packers
Unless the Lions suffer a rash of injuries during preseason I feel they will open up at Home with a Big win over Favre and the defenseless Pack.
BEST BET :firing:

Rams -4.5 at 49'ers
I don't like Mike Martz but I fell the Rams are at least a TD better then the Niners no matter where they play.

Vikes -5.5 over Bucs
Minny at Home in the Dome with a Huge improvement on the defensive side of the ball covers this number over the Bucs.

I would have to agree that the Bengals @ -2.5 is an excellent value.

The line-makers have projected the line from last years stats/results. That was with Garcia and Holcomb as the Brown's QBs. They are both gone and Dilfer is the new Browns QB.

Also, last year was Palmer's first year starting. He should be better this year.

Contrarian: Last year the Browns badly beat the high favored Ravens in CLE the first week.

Plus the Browns play the Bengals extremely tough.

Bengals have to have one of the toughest pre-season schedules in the league.......they play NE......Philla....Wash......and Indy.......after getting done with those 4 the Browns ought to seem like a Pop Warner team
