mentioned many more stocks than these in 2006, however these are the ones mentioned in a thread DTB started about stocks for 2006.

US stocks picks (picked by a formula to find cheap value picks, that is my story and I am sticking to it....)

all returns count dividends
ASH +7.28%

acutally had a bad day on Friday return was over 8%.

LFG -2.97%
counting the div, this stock loss a small amount.

will run the same thing next year, not bad, however both of these stocks underperformed the main indexes.

LFG looks even cheaper than last year, however maybe I am missing something.

Cdn. stocks

GCA -27.27% this is the jr. natural gas story. mentioned this was dead money in the last update...wrong...went down further.

look it is cheap however no ones cares for natural gas stocks, especially juniors. have sold most of the positon, keeping 25% because it still seems cheap. will probably not do much in the next 3-6 months....maybe go down.

oil +107.98 % this stock did great a makes up for most of the other three. a small jr. oil company in the North Sea. trades on Toronto.

at around $7cdn. would rate it a hold. not selling any, the moment I do, the stock would probably hit and go to 10.

stop loss at 6.50, 50%.

the best stock that picked in 2006 was the only stock picked in the predictions thread...... HBM, will go over that pick when update the predictions.

also did some trading around the position, some great, good, and bad, and moronic.

HBM is a cheap stock however would rate it a hold over 21. believe people may take out base metal stocks out in 2007 and shoot them.

zinc and copper only have to fall a small amount and then investors will dump those terrible companies that trade for 5X earings.

Merry Christmas, and the best for the holidays and 2007.

thanks
