It's time to take a look at how the golf forum fared last year ... :0corn

If someone had staked 1 unit on each of the plays posted in the golf forum in 2007 they would have recorded a profit of 80.94 units. Significantly down on previous years and President Bush has probably played a large part in that, but it is still a great effort for the entire forum to be in profit over a whole year!

And if someone had staked 1 unit on each of the plays in the golf forum over the last six years, they would have recorded a profit of 2,264 units :D

As always Stan THANK YOU for the time spent to make this forum unique to any others.

--also might add tour-tips has certainly aided in lot of success here and some nice new additions this year--at a most affordable price-

MR Riddle--what an incredible run--

Had some quality newcomers in 07

ABC You were certainly a nice addition this year-aside from doing excellent job of capping--you add lots of info and do keep things interesting.:)

Jimmytime--great job and expect more of same--somehow I believe I may know from elsewhere but haven't make connection yet-

--and the old crew continued to peck out their annual profits. As Stan noted getting a little tougher with elimination of several outs--especially in the outright area--also see lots of prior areas that were previously exploited being eliminated by books--but as they say--when the going gets tough---

:D

Lucas Glover
Backed in outrights: -2.00 units
Backed in matchups: +0.15 units
Opposed in matchups: -2.20 units

Pat Perez
Backed in outrights: +0.00 units
Backed in matchups: -2.10 units
Opposed in matchups: +0.00 units

Your best players to back in matchups was Ernie Els (+8.10 units), though he also was your worst player to back to back in outrights (-5.00 units). Your best player to oppose in matchups was Colin Montgomerie (+4.00 units) and your worst player to back in matchups was Bradley Dredge (-3.60 units)

I only threw away 5.00 units on Adam Scott last year. Another forum member else lost more heavily on Scott last year ;)

Yea, I killed on Els. I knew he was rounding into form and was being undervalued going up against the second tier in the world. Adam Scott and Lucas Glover are career under achievers..no surprise on the outright bets. Looking forward to the nationwide and q school guys.

Thanks Dogs.. yea i love talking sports :0corn
