Will we ever see more of a circus than the 2008 Presidential race will undoubtedly be?

It is shaping up to be a WWE pay per view.

this just broke
http://www.boston.com/news/local/ma.../romney_to_announce_he_wont_seek_re_election/

you think Kennedy running as a Catholic was a big deal 40 years ago? How do you think a mormon in the WH sounds?

The GOP better hope Rudy gets the train chuggin quick. Hillary has already been all over the midwest, and Kerry hasn't stopped his delusional campaign since he lost in 04.

Needless to say, I can't wait.

Eh, Nixon was a Quaker... we have had nutball religions represented before.

Maybe we WILL get to add she-devil to the list.

The dumbest of the dumb? You wanna take a poll shitbag? Want to find out who's thought of how around here you mother****er? You ever have anything to say about my parenting again in here we are going to have a problem. You have no clue what kind of father I am. You rotten piece of shit. Have you ever posted a play or a winner on here?

You were the dumbest of the dumb that thought the fcuking Contras were in Iran retard. Which basically showed that you are nowhere near my intelligence or you are just a kid that was too young to remember.

I can take a lot of shit all in good fun however you are the second person who has called me a deadbeat dad because of my choice of endeavors. (Dr Freeze Being the other one.) This is crossing the linefrom humor to just no class. I now feel Neither one of you is worth the toilet paper I wipe my ass with.

Wonder if you to are affiliated?

You will never send your kid to colledge without a job ! Pretty much has been the key to the White House lately. Being a Governor, no real traceable positions via Senate or Congressional votes, etc. As a governor, it's easy to take credit for positives, and deflect the negatives. Much tougher to label a governor politically than it is a member of the legislature.

romney`s a likable sort....seems like a very realistic, common sensical kinda guy....very moderate.....if somehow hillary drops off the face of the earth,i`d like to think he`d have a half a shot....

but,he doesn`t actually fit in with the moveon.org crowd....the dean,harry reid,pelosi bunch.....

are democrats coming to their senses?....

here`s the dream tickets...

romney/evan bayh.....vs mccain/rudy(i`m not a big mccain fan,but i could live with him).....

young moderate democrats....kennedy-esque democrats...

these 2 tickets go at it,and i`ll sit back with a smile on my face...

nobody loses...

stevie...why would you like romney?...isn`t he way to moderate for your tastes?....

you are 100% right........my bad....we have republican governors in california and massachusetts......

i can`t get used to that fact...

in that case...i`d like to substitute romney for mccain....

on the democratic side,i`d slide bayh up the pole to presidential candidate...as for vice president,i know lieberman`s not an option....

maybe bill richardson of new mexico...

cut the extremes from both sides off at the knees...

im in the same boat with you. yah romney has taken credit for alot of massachusetts advances in the past 3 years. namely - their ranking at the top of the list in public school test scores, and erasing a multi billion dollar debt without raising taxes once.

also great point to whoever pointed out that one of the most fashionable and easy routes the white house is by being a gov.

theyre are some very intelligent gamblers in this forum (despite the horrendous spelling and grammar)

Hillary will win the nomination because she is speaking out of both sides of her mouth constantly. She wants to see how Iraq will turn out and that's why she takes so many different positions. One day she supports the war, next day she slams it. I have never seen such a drastic shift in her politics toward the right. She knows you can;t win elections anymore unless you move toward the right.

She is lucky. She has Bill Clinton going all over the middle east critisizing the war, while Hillary sits home and defends it. Whichever way it turns out, her ass is covered. She's a fraud. I can;t wait for her to run this is going to be the greatest thing that us conservatives could ask for!

To win the presidency you must first get elected. This will be an easy win for the conservatives once again in 2008. What rock do you live under?

I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I wouldn't be so overconfident. I think she would hold all the states Kerry won and would have a chance in Pennsylvania and/or Florida, only one of which she would need.

If I were you, I would be hoping that the Republican Party doesn't have the same overconfidence as you, and i'm sure they don't.

Last year the president got over half the votes. There are several states where the race was closer than Ohio so I wouldn't be so confident that they would remain blue. Especially 3 years from now. I fear Hillary in no way. She is a liar and a fraud and everyone knows it. The democarts have no leadership, no plan, no ideas on how to fight terror, and no morality. Why do you think there's only been one democrat president in the last quarter century?

You're underestimating her, but we'll have plenty of time to discuss her in a couple years. If the republicans put up a decent candidate I definitely won't be voting for Hillary.

Then again, if she won the presidency, the outcry from the far right, the bible beaters, the homophobes, the mansons, would be PRICELESS!!!
