Lets see who can list the most disastrous welfare programs funded by the broke American taxpayer in this bill.

Exactly the worst thing we need right now.

What we do need: Stimuli for Americans to work hard and be productive to get this economy going.

What we do not need: Stimuli for more Americans to sit on their tails and get hooked up to the government feeding tube.

I don't agree with this stimulus plan because most of it will not enhance the economy long term and will not fix the fundamentals of what is wrong with the economy... you of all people would not understand this because you were way behind the curve when it came too seeing that the fundamentals were not strong and the #'s were only #'s a fool could believe... I don't say this in retrospect but look at my post in this forum, that questioned the fundalmentls & #'s ... I laughed at you and the people and sources you quoted.....The iraq war has cost us 600 + B..... 600 + B will not be spent in the 1rst month of the Obama administration... The one thing these two adinistrations have in common.... most Americans know money spent under bush in Iraq & the so called stimulus plan he rushed threw was a joke... most Americas knowing what we do about this Obama plan that they call stimulus is anti American worker, tax payer, people that make this country run..... there are no easy answers, there is suffering that goes on in our country that happens to good people, people that play by the rules.. We can't save everyone, but we shouldn't be saving the ones that we have to this point. Wall ST / BANKERS : get billions on the backs of workers ???? What kind of socialism is that ????? What's the difference in giving mr wall st a million dollar bonus and giving a poor woman a safe abortion for her kid that most of the people that fight for it's life could care less about once it's born ? you don't want social porgrams but you don't want abortion...... Well that's just not true... you want welfare for bankers, military contractors, big oil, drug companies/ health care providers, ins companies.... you finish the list....

YES .... what is wrong with hope ? with out hope, most of hard working people in America could not do what they do every day for their families and friends... with out hope, most of the people that scheme to come hear everyday, from GOD knows where and the trials they face....These people could not become Americas and the Worlds greatest testament to LIFE & LIBERTY with out hope ! I'm not surprised that someone like you, who has this sense of entitlement, this sense of owning a piece of America, doesn't get what the American dream is all about..... I have said this before : you embrace your dreams.... What about the American dreams of others ? I'm not talking about the people that don't want to work and the criminal elements. I'm talking about the Americans and people that are not American who embrace every day with hope, hard work and a sense of pride... What about them ???? Who speaks for them . It is simply ridiculous... in AMERICA; with all of our wealth and power, we can look down on how others live, when we turn our backs on, how some of US live... It is absurd that we grant power to the pelosi's and bushes of the world and expect different. Our forefathers laid the bricks, their intentions may have not been 21rst century but some of their words and ideas were... If we are to live up to what America will be sooner rather than later, we will embrace rush limbaugh and take his word that words have meaning.... If that is so, America will keep chugging along and get closer to the America that rush and some of our fathers would not want us to be. ... for those that say, why change ??? There is nothing wrong... Take a look around.... For those that say, I'm un- American for wanting a different America... I say, you don't understand the concept of America. America will always be a working project... We can't stand ... We can advance or retreat.... (retreat : a right wing term solidified under bush/cheney.. ) There is no doubt, we have retreated as a society, the last 8 yrs. Time to turn a page... Time to be America !!!! We will not get there under Obama but we are closer than we were on election day... My Grandmother always said : we get what we deserve, and what we are ready for. We deserved bush and made it threw... We were ready for Obama and the Counrty will embrace this change with hope... We have had hope under every President since Kennedy in my life time... Why is hope & change such a dirty word now ? Whats wrong with hope now ? When it's most needed..... It's going to be the American People that turn this thing around. Not the loyalist on the right or their brothers/sister pelosi on the left.
