Betting on golf isn't what it used to be. It used to be easy, now it's tough. 10 years ago, hell, even 5 years ago, it wasn't unusual to know more than the books. Not anymore.

Betting on golf isn't what it used to be. It used to be easy, now it's tough. 10 years ago, hell, even 5 years ago, it wasn't unusual to know more than the books. Not anymore.

I remember top 5's used to be 1/4 of win then 1/5.. now can't get them on lpga and beards except a couple books overseas.

--of course I don't blame them if they can get by with it.

They have to pay full odds on all wagers up to to five on place bets.

If a person bets 5 win tickets (say all at 20/1) books "real loss" will only be 4/1 if one does hit.

I echoed that KServ....That was a great contest and more members would frequent the golf forum for sure...I'm sure it was alot of work for Stanley as busy as he is now but who knows maybe Jack will bring it back...
