:0corn Well, its that time of year again....:0corn :0corn

Each year the BSA supports local Troops/Packs in selling:0corn to support events such as campouts, hiking, daycamps, webelosree, jamborees, etc....

spencer has been the top seller the last 2 years, but has moved to Boy Scouts this year so the competition has ramped up...

Hayden and Spencer are selling :0corn, so if you're interested, below is what is available...

I will send popcorn to you which we will receive in November... I have a limited quantity on hand now though...

I have decided to go with the young upstart. Hayden will be my exclusive dealer for the 2012 sales year.

I will take one Chocolatey Triple Delight ($20) and one Cheese Lover's ($30).

I hope it is better quality than last year, we threw ours in the trash can. Maybe I will just throw a few hundred bucks at our local chapter and not worry about the popcorn :lol:

What did u order last year..I hope it wasn't the caramel microwaveable ... That was pretty bad..

I tosses the box after popping 1 bag..it's been pulled this year

Cub Scouts mom watching from curb, wife asks about products, does not want any crap candy etc.

The kid must have been 6.

My wife offers a $10.00 CASH donation so he does not walk away empty handed.

Get this, (only in America)
"We can not take a cash donation LESS than $25.00"

I sh*t you not.

He did go on to say it is "forwarded to a military cause"

So, he leaves with NADA...
What am I missing here?:shrug:

When I was a Boy Scout, we were once raising funds to help a Ball Park renewal.
We had big plastic water jugs collecting change throughout the neighborhoods......ANY donation (pennies, nickels, dimes etc) was more than welcome, think in total, we raised a couple thousand dollars .....

My how times have changed...

Hmmmmm... BSA doesn't allow to solicit cash, but if offered we can take a donation, which the pack gets 100%.
Idk why they didn't take the $$.
