The 2014 NFL season is sure to provide drama, action, and everything else that you love about the game of Football. Football fans around the world are eagerly waiting for September 4th to see how the defending Super Bowl champion, the Seattle Seahawks, do in their first game of the regular season vs. the Green Bay Packers.

The 2014 NFL season still a few days away from its official kick off, but in less than two weeks, the 32 teams will step on the field to give us a taste of what they?re ready to do this following season.

We?re all excited and anxious. While not quite as thrilling as the regular season action, there are going to be some really good preseason games this year that are bound to be entertaining. Here are some of the most anticipated NFL preseason matchups and some of the preseason games that shouldn?t be skipped:

N.Y Giants vs. Buffalo Bills (NFL Hall of Fame Game)

Date/Time: August 3rd, 8 p.m. ET, Pro Football Hall of Fame Field at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio

Giants and Bills will officially open the Preseason when they meet in the Hall of Fame game, which is set to be played at Pro Football Hall of Fame Field at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio; one day after the Hall of Fame's Class of 2014 is formally enshrined. This is the first time the Bills and Giants will meet in the Hall of Fame Game and the first time they meet each other in the field since the 2011 regular season.

The game has a special meaning for both squads as each team will see one of its all-time greats enshrined in this year?s ceremony. Wide receiver Andre Reed, who played 15 of his 16 NFL seasons in Buffalo and Giants defensive end Michael Strahan, who played his entire 15-year career with N.Y, are two of the seven players called to enter the 2014 class.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos

Date/Time: August 8th, 7:00 p.m. MDT at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, US

This game should be very entertaining. Immediately, we get to watch a rematch of last Super Bowl game. You definitely won?t want to miss one. We believe it will be a closely contended game with tons of action.

We have to give the Seahawks the edge due to their incredible offense, but we think the defending AFC champion Denver Broncos will give them a run for their money. We expect both teams to take this game seriously. Whoever wins will set the tone for the rest of the season. In fact, we believe that the team that wins this game will be ?the team to beat? for the rest of the season. Matchups like this don?t come around often, so make sure that you catch this game.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens

Date/Time: Aug 7th, 2014 7:30 PM ? M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore MD

The 49ers open the preseason on the road against the Baltimore Ravens in a Super Bowl XLVII rematch game will definitely please the most demanding fans and football bettors. The Ravens look strong this year, but will they will able to overcome the pure athleticism of the 49ers?

Both teams have great players who will give it their all for this match. We expect to watch a competitive game with a lot on the field besides a ton of great plays, however, who will emerge victorious in this game is anyone?s guess at this point.

New England Patriots vs. Washington Redskins

Date/Time: August 7th, 7:30 p.m. EDT at FedExField in Landover, US

We are confident that this will be a strongly contested game that will be enjoyable to watch. The Patriots visit the Redskins at FedExField in Landover, for one of the most attractive games of the preseason.

Weeks after the 2014 Preseason Schedule was announced, the Patriots announced today that they will conduct joint training camp practices with the Washington Redskins in Richmond, Va. The practices, which are scheduled to run from Monday, Aug. 4 through Wednesday, Aug. 6th, will lead into the team's 2014 preseason debut on Thursday, Aug. 7 at FedEx Field, which means that both teams will enter the game knowing what to expect from each other.

Seven weeks remain until Washington kicks off the regular season in Houston against the Texans on September 7th, but now the Redskins have a though test ahead if they want to prove fans and bettors that they have what it takes to rebound from a dismal 3-13 record achieved last season. While the Redskins are definitely the underdogs in this match, they have achieved big victories before, besides that, this is the preseason, so anyone can actually win the game.

As you can see, there are some great preseason battles coming up during the first week of cation. These games are just a few of the incredible matchups that will start off this season with a bang. Most people don?t like to follow these games or couldn?t care less about the results, but there are also many reasons to watch them or at least check the game insights and the game scores.

There are tons of great games that football fans everywhere can appreciate getting some action before teams return to the field to battle for a spot in Super Bowl XLIX. Don?t miss out on these great games. We have you covered, so make sure to check the available odds and lines for NFL at Sportsbettingonline.ag.
