The 2017 NHL draft kicks off Friday night in Chicago, with the New Jersey Devils on the clock.

They will be followed by the division-rival Philadelphia Flyers, who made the biggest jump in the draft lottery.

The consensus top two prospects are forwards Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick.

With three selections, the result of moves related to the expansion draft, the new Vegas Golden Knights will pick the most on Friday night.

Rounds 2-7 of the draft will be held on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.
