Boston is real good, like really good... you should be getting +165 IMO before you consider that a playable wager.
Fair enough. No offense intended and I confess, again, that there is a large emotional/homer component to my play. I'll watch the shit regardless, and should realize from my great experience watching the Jays playoff go a couple years back--where I took a break from betting--that I don't need action to enhance the entertainment value. I'm having a surreal April, however, leaving my Pinny account mildly bloated, so I grabbed some +140 series. Think I've seen it dip to +128 and now back up to +133 or so. Nobody reading this should base any bet on my play, here.
I cussed out Freddy Anderson in a post early in the season, and then he started playing much better from what I've seen. My faith in him is still limited though I don't believe that Rask is any major step up. Leafs O is full of energy and attack while I get the Bruins as more of an efficient, offensive machine; looking to set up high percentage opportunities. Lots of discussion about B's having the 'top line' in the NHL (Bergeron, Marchand, Pastrnak) but I gather the O's to be pretty even or maybe with an edge to the Leafs with their better depth. B's have the better D (over Leafs, most do) and I figure it helped getting Chara some 'rest', due to injury, the latter part of the season (similar for Matthews). Speaking of health concerns, it appears that the Leafs are in a little better shape as I've heard/read that the Bruins are coming in a little less fit than the Leafs; not convinced by that one but time may or may not tell.
I do think that the Leafs are going to be solid at home...again, time will tell.
Starting after a break, in late January, the Leafs finished the season with 16 wins in 18 tries at home, with just a bizarre loss to the Sabres(2-3) and a tolerable beating by the Jets(1-3). Bruins, mind you, were also 12-3 at home over that same period.
Sorry to hijack your thread, in any way, kickserv.
Sorry, also, that you ain't around the city at the time.
Now that you mention it, though, I believe one of my hook-ups was with Toronto-Vigilante. He can correct me if I'm wrong about that, and he still partakes of the site, but that did ring a bell. Gotta be talkin' 12-13 years ago so I could very well be wrong or forgotten if the otherwise.
