Argos 8 1/2 -130 (16-2) WTF? Researching why after a great year in 2023!!

Knowing QB Kelly is out 1/2 the year due to a suspension, oddsmakers feel 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 wins for Toronto is the right number. After winning 16 games last year and losing in the GREY CUP to Montreal last season, that's a lot of disrespect, even in a league where there's a salary cap and lots of moving parts for free-agent signings, departures, etc.

A team that should make some improvement this year over their 4 wins last year is Edmonton Elks, also Ottawa Redblacks winning just 4 games last year, they're projected at 6 1/2 wins, 7 is likely but we'll see.
