If you look at 2nd hf totals, it does'nt matter what the 1st half score is. Its always about half of the game total give or take a point.

They wouldnt make it 110 just because they scored 120 in the 1st half.

So shouldn't it have been 105 at the very least, maybe adjust to 106 because of the 120?

I just checked all the 2nd half totals and all were less than half of the closing number on the total.

This was actually the highest total in relation to the closing number. It did did go up 104.5 juiced and 105 at another book.

They wouldn't make it higher because that just creates huge middle opportunity.

Even with the 104 thats setting up a 14pt middle.

Thats the last thing the book wants.

If anything they would have set the line higher had they only scored 100pts. The goal for the book is to try to have the 2nd hf line closer to the closing number number to prevent large middles.

The best way to determine a play on the total for the second is to look at the fg atts and fg%.
