my first thought is that the white kids are pounding the shit out of the boards despite being outclassed in terms of athleticism.
that being said, virginia union really turned up the defensive pressure in the final 5:00 or 7:00. too bad they needed to dig themselves a 17 point hole before they started to play.
i think the 2h line is very tough because this is truly a gray area with the score. with a few winona baskets, this game is a blowout again. with a few vuu baskets, they are right back in a tight game. ive always felt a halftime differential of 10 points or so is always tough to cap (for 2h purposes).

Gman, I tailed you w/ the total. I took under 142.5 and the 76 puts it at 143. What do you think about the total?

im by no means 'less confident' on the total, but id rather it was virginia union with the DD lead at halftime as opposed to winona. but all things considered, the defense picked up in the final part of the half. gotta stay out of the bonus though. refs called some really ticky tack stuff late in the 1h that gave some free points away.
