Tough loss last night. Tonight's play is not for the weak of heart. You know, playing pretty much all dogs is frustrating because you lose quite a bit, but when I see that I am just barely over .500 on the year but up really solid money, it is worth it.

Vancouver +220 over NEW JERSEY

First of all the reason I am not taking the half goal at +160 is that 60/160 = 37.5%. That means a tie would have to have a 37.5% chance of happening compared to a win, which I think is too high.

The bloody facts are that the Devs have won 12 straight while the Cancucks have one win in their last nine. Also, Markus Naslund is out for the season. But even with him out, I see tons of offensive talent on Vancouver.

During their streaks, NJ has shot over 10% in 9 of 12 while VAN has in only 2 of 9. Given the offensive talent on each club, those trends won't hold. With Cloutier in net, NJ will be hard pressed to shoot over 10%. The Devs also have a game with Mario and the Pens next up so they could be looking ahead to that one.
