He buys points - I had a discussion with him about it some time ago. Whether or not you agree with his strategy, he is really good at picking winners. Personally, I still go with the reduced juice when I can, but he has certainly won some games that I have lost because of his approach.
Although, his line on the portland game may be wrong, or maybe he meant the nets?

sorry everybody I was in a hurry I guess I'm so used to adding 1.5 that I saw the numbers and absentmindedly added them like they were dogs I bet the games this morning had port ml not +2.5 I misread them at heritage initially when I bet them also . I usually toggle my offshore screen with the forums screen . chalk it up to me not being a morning person.

I already posted houst as a dog and port as a dog on the forum before actually betting. port came up +4 -298 when I placed the bet. that's when I realized I screwed up. almost funny. I was actually waiting for a witchunt to start because of my mistake. jeeez.
