Back at it on Saturday after yesterday's 4* WIN and near strike on calling the Final Score. One early game to post. A game that we like when it first came out. Up to -3.5 in some spots, but still might be able to get it at this price.

3* West Virginia -3
3-2 Maryland comes calling on a surprising 3-1 Mountaineers squad that have managed to hold court at home going 2-0 and holding opponents to 12 ppg while the offense has averaged 36ppg altogether and over 45 at home. True, those home wins have come against the likes of Chattanooga and a down East Carolina team so Saturday's game will serve as a true barometer as to the legitimacy of this West Virginia team. The Terrapins haven't beatedn anyone of note themselves and have lost big in games against powerhouses like Notre Dame and FSU. It goes without saying that this should be a good ball game. The Mountaineers are lead by Senior RB Avon Cobourne who had 260 yds/2 touchdowns in last week's win over ECU. Last year, WV lead the nation in pass defense and this return 7 starters and having 4 games under their collective belts along with the new recruits should make it hard for Maryland to move the ball. Maryland's offense averages 0.0 ppg on the road, but again that was against two stellar defenses. They should be able to score some today, but the West Virginia playing with more confidence under Rodrigues should be able to win and cover the small number here. ATS stats augment this play on as the Mountaineers are 3-0 ATS the L3 against the Terps.

Score: West Virginia 31 Maryland 20

Tread lightly....

I fulluy expect Maryland to load the box and try to take the run from WVU. They will make Rasheed Marshall beat the m through the air...Well, Marshall dislocated his finger in East Carolina win and sat out Mondays practice...just something to chew on.
