First group I ever saw live was 3 dog night at geauga lake amusement park outside of Cleveland for free in 1967 or 1968. Tonight they are playing (for free once again) at the Taste of Blue Ash over 40 years later (suburb of Cincinnati just north of shambala). Thinking about taking the old shoe (sure as I'm sittin here), drinking a few cocktails, even though my mama told me not to come, I might listen to Jerimiah while waitin for my cousin Eli who may be comin, while figuring out what the lonliest number is, after dancing to the music and celebratin. Anyone remember any hits they had?

They were also a very down to earth bunch of guys.

When I was in college I played in a band that was playing at a Holiday Inn just outside of Pittsburgh. They came in and caught one of our sets and then we went over and talked with them on our break. They were not pretentious at all and very complimentary (which meant that they probably had a few more than I had thought)...........It's one of those journey through life experiences that you never forget.

Well, had a great time. Band and majority of audience looked a liitle different but the music sounded wonderful. Was watching this grey haired guy who was having trouble getting over a small stone wall (of course I was hoping he would fall and injure himself) and a bunch of fans came over to help him out. I still love my generation.

Actually watching that guy made me kinda nostalgic. Was thinking if he was at a 3 dog night show 40 years ago and hopping over a wall. Don't think he would have had any trouble back then. Ah youth. Oh well.

Thanks, Brent. One of those nights where weather was perfect, crowd was just right, beer was a flowin. My own personal woodstock. Well not quite. Morris, BS & T, Credence and 3 dog night for 3 bucks. Amazing. Nowadays you can't get into a concert for less than $80.

Wayne, xanadu.
