Like the Astro's with their new starter Wolf over Suppan..sometimes a change of scenery can result in immediate returns..Wolf a career 500 pitcher but he does have his moments..nothing can be worse than pitching for the Padres with their support..Astros also out of contention but they have some solid hitters..Suppan is a finesse pitcher who when he's off, will get hit..think Wolf will be on and Suppan will be off.,.Astros 7 Brewers 4.

Like the Marlins to sweep. Vanderbuch, or whatever is name is, pitched the best game of his career last time out..worth a shot he repeats...Marquis pretty average..the fish have the Cubs number...Marlins 5 Cubs 4.

Like the Orioles to break their no wins on Sunday and their losing streak against maybe the best team in baseball..and for only one reason, think they get to Santana...Santana can no hit folks and he can also implode...think he implodes..Os too good a hitting team to get shut down again...Santana the kind of picther I think they can get to..hard stuff, wild...Olson of the Os has been totally off form..he barely gets into the 5th inning nowadays..his last 7-8 starts have been similiar...high-pitch count, lots of walks..this could be a high scoring affair today..Os 8 Angels 6

Twins not playing good ball lately..but still have much more talent than the Indians..Sowers has always been errative..Blackburn nothing special either...so this one comes down to who hits the ball better and better pen..think it's the Twins...Twins 7 Indicans 3

Just a heads up,Florida won't be a sweep as Cubs won first game,a 4 game series here.

Playing with a little house money..Yanks tonight

Just a little entertain $$$ for tonight..can't go with the Red Sox..they are playing uninspired ball right now..exactly the opposite of the Yanks..you'd think the rivalry would take over in this one..other than hitting batters to intimidate them..the Red Sox look real flat right now...Lester is pretty tough but the Yanks are beating up on everyone..think the Yanks can put enough on the board against Lester to get to the now susceptible Red Sox pen...Ponson not all that great but he's winning this year for both the Yanks and Rangers...he'll eat up some innings which the Yanks need to get to their late pen...see a close one here...Yanks 6, Red Sox 5..for a small play

Entertainment prop tonight-Ponson over 93.5 pitches

Another "entertainment" play...like the over 93.5 pitches for Ponson tonight...first, Boston takes a whole lot of pitches which means deep counts; 2nd, Ponson is a veteran the Giraldi will stick with if he gets in trouble...3rd, Ponson gives up a lot of hits which as long as they aren't 3 run homers, will add to pitch count; 4th, Ponson is pretty durable, he typically goes 7 innings which should get the 93.5 pretty easy 5th; Giaraldi doesn't trust his long relievers and will stick with Ponson as long as the game is close...which I think it will be and 6) it's just entertainment so small play.

Add a couple of parlays-today and tomorrow

Parlay the Yanks with the Os tomorrow night. If the Yanks win, see a let down spot for tomorrow..plus the Os have the better starter tomorrow at great odds..Os are pretty much the equal as the Yanks bats except for the Yanks having one superstar which the Os don't have...but Mussina can be had..Guthrie is the best Os starter..he's soilid almost every time out...so the Yanks sweep tonight and come down to earth tomorrow..it's hard to keep the emotion up after a sweep and the Os are still a hungry and well manged team.

Also, play the Yanks toinght with Toronto...Burnett has been on his game..Blue Jays playing well under their new skipper...Shields can be hit...

And lastly, parlay the Yanks with the under in the Mets/Florida game..two starters on their game right now coming off road trips...see a 3-2, 4-3 like game..I'll play all of these even if the Yanks lose tonight..
