Season: 2-1 Pick of the week: 1-0
Fresno St. +13
The Bulldogs are 12-5 ATS as an underdog and showed last week against Washington why they may get BCS consideration this year. KSU is only returning 10 total starters and will need some time to hit their full stride. I look for a close game. This is my play of the week.
Louisville -22
I don't usually lay this many points but the Cardinals are in a perfect spot. The Cardinals are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on turf. The defense is outstanding and the offense should be able to move freely on an awful Black Knight team. Since 2000, Army is 1-7 ATS revenging a road loss to a foe of >14 pts. Last year, the Cardinals won by 24 last year. Even with 18 returning starters, can't recommend Army.
Marshall +16
Marshall lost to a pretty good Troy St. team and should be pumped up for a contest at the Horseshoe. Not overly impressed with Ohio St. last week against Cincy. A couple late scores made it look easier than it was. The Buckeyes are a team in transition and should win but I expect a 7 to 10 point difference. I'll take the Thundering Herd.
