Take the points in this tilt because 4 and 1/2 TDs is too much even for the mighty Sooners. BG is 7-0 ATS in the first month of the season over the last 3 years. BG is returning 9 starters on offense and 7 on defense. The Falcons may not win but they will keep it close.

New Mexico +3
This game is a major trap. Everyone I've talked to is on WSU. If it was the WSU team of '03 I would be in full agreement, but this team is only retuning 4 starters on offense and 2 on defense! As for New Mexico, They are 12-5 ATS in home games over the last 3 years. I like the Lobos to win the game outright but I'll take the 3 to be safe.

Rutgers +5
Rutgers was the "play on" team last year going 10-1 ATS. Over the last 3 seasons, Rutgers is 9-3 ATS and looks to be in good shape returning 15 starters. As for the Spartans, they lost a major contributor when Jeff Smoker graduated. With a new QB on the road going against a team that is on the rise, once again, I must take the points. Go Scarlett Knights!

I like Memphis too.

The only thing that scares me is that Ole Miss was 4-1 ATS avenging a loss from the previous season in 2003. (Memphis smoked them last year with Manning) Is this a trap?

they were 4-1 avenging a loss in 2003 with eli under center. memphis has a great team, very experienced and deep. looking at their schedule, this is one of 3 games they have to get past to have a chance to be undefeated, so very slim chance they won't come to play. I just think the rebels will be missing manning too much. i see memphis winning by at least a TD, unless they lose the TO battle.

I am glad someone besides me is on BG. Almost the same team minus the quarterback. LY they put up over 300 yards passing on purdue and OSU, two excellent D's. They are disciplined only averaging 5 penalties a game LY. I think they lose but not by 33.

ole miss starts a new qb this year, obviously. this is his 1st college start. he is a fast sob so the game may come down to how he handles this role. the game is a sellout with a lot of trash talking going on down here. memphis does return almost everybody on off from last year. getting points in this game is nice because memphis should beat this team - except for the possible to's. also, memphis should never be out of the game from the cover standpoint as they can score quick.
