Quebec PQ, Canada
Colorado -105 (51.0%) MPO: St-L in 6
New Jersey -265 (71.5%) MPO: NJ in 6

I don't see any value in the Colorado/St-Louis series, as the line is Col -125 (St-L +105).. note that I did consider Forsberg's status to end up with that -105.

As for the NJ/Pit series, well we'll see tomorrow morning... I feel sorry for all you Sabres and Leafs fans, but this matchup should be much more interesting (to watch) than a Leafs/Sabres series. I also must admit that I feel much better now that the Sabres are out of the playoffs, a team that totally dominated the Devils during the regular season.

Also, call me lucky - guess I am a bit, but through the regular season, I wagered on 4 different teams to win the cup (straight futures). No need to mention what are the 4 teams...

The big money is on New Jersey though.

I forgot to update my series record here:

Round 2:

LAKings +650 LOST 1
St-Louis +160 (*1.5) WON 2.4
Toronto +450 LOST 1
LAKings (ag3) +1100 (*0.25) LOST 0.25
Buffalo (ag3) +240 (*0.5) LOST 0.5
Colorado (ag6) -260 (*1.25) WON 1.25

Round 2 total: 2-4 +0.9

Playoff series record: 5-9 +7.0

That's what I love about the playoffs... W% is .357 but net profit is +7. I have to agree with IE once again here: "percentage and money management".

A couple of days ago, I almost fell into the temptation to post something pretty mean in the General Discussion forum. I was having a little discussion with some guy who seemed to really think that a specific event (really it doesn't even worth the time to give the details) was a "sure thing". Well I'll try to be polite here: technically, it's because of those guys laying the house and the car on what they call "sure things" that I can make money with gambling. That simple. By all means, if you think that anything above 80% means 100%, well then you should try to reconsider your way of thinking before going bankrupt.

One series bet in round 3:

Pittsburgh +330

I'm actually going for 3 units on this one but 2 of them are counted as a "safety bet", since I still have that big amount pending on the Devils to win the cup. So for the record, this is a 1 unit play.

So I'm going against my Devils for the 3rd straight series, but hey, once again, I'd gladly take the lost here
